Traces of Bodies Artbeat
The below are documentation photos from Artbeat 2018, Traces of Bodies, one of Christina Tedesco's community projects in Davis Square, Somerville, MA. The project was the focus of Christina Tedesco's LCC Grant, Local Cultural Council of Somerville Arts Council fellowship. This idea behind Traces of Bodies was that a community member would pick a piece of paper or fabric representing how they want to be seen in the community. Then they would lay down on the paper or fabric and be traced. Everyone's life-size cut out was used to make a mural of the community.
